I am a dual Masters student of the Carnegie Mellon Entertainment Technology Center and the University of Madeira in Portugal. With a background in film, fine arts, creative writing, and politics, I am interested in creating games and entertainment experiences that connect people with the world and each-other in deeper and more meaningful ways.
In my free time I enjoy trail hiking, vegetable gardening, playing board games, and building things.
Here are some other areas of interest of mine. They generally stem from a blog I ran between May of 2010 and August of 2011 about the potency of blending components from information, communication, social, and entertainment technologies to create empowering experiences. You can find a selection of archived posts in ‘The Archive’ section.
